柔らかく雄大に空に浮かび太陽や月の光を投影させながらも刻々とその表情を変化させる雲をイメージしたモビールです。雲の輪郭ラインは大きさの異なる４種のパーツを組み合わせて描かれています。半楕円形のラインを持つこのシンプルな形状の部品は、すべて精密に切り出された薄いアルミ板からできています。動きと共に変化する穏やかで美しい色合いは、染色技術により色付けられています。

このモビールはモビールの基本形である天秤型のモビールに、上下を反転させた「もう一つの天秤」がぶら下がる独自の構造を持っています。そのことで風を受けると部分的に回転しながら全体の形が少しずつ変化していく優雅な動きが生まれました。連結点が多いので柔軟性があり、雲のように複数集まると全体が一体化しているように見えるフラクタルな構造のモビールです。

This mobile is inspired by clouds, floating softly and majestically in the sky, projecting the light of the sun and moon while changing its appearance from moment to moment.The outline of the cloud is drawn by combining four different sized parts.This simply shaped component with semi-elliptical lines is madeentirely from thin aluminum plates that have been precisely cut. The gentle and beautiful colors that change with movement are achieved using dyeing techniques.

This mobile has a unique structure in which a balance-shaped mobile, the basic form of a mobile, has an inverted “second balance” hanging from it.This creates an elegant movement in which parts rotate and the overall shape changes little by little when exposed to the wind. This mobile has a fractal structure that makes it flexible with many connecting points, and when multiple pieces come together like a cloud, they appear to be one whole.
